Day 2 Bulletin

First day on the slopes and the children are doing brilliantly. Everyone has successfully mastered the basics and the instructors report that the children have made very good progress in such a short time. Unlike some of the staff...!

The instructors are excellent - very kind and enthusiastic, and wonderful teachers. I have suggested that they consider a career in education when they tire of life on the slopes, which I suspect may not be for some time!

It is simply beautiful here and we are all enjoying the fresh air and the breathtaking views. I am attaching as many photos as possible, but please bear with me as the internet connection is very slow and it it takes an age to upload each picture. Remember also to check the Viamonde site which I referred to in my last post. Thank you for all your posts which I will share with your children each day. The schedule here is VERY busy so it will be hard for us to reply to every message, but when we have a little free time I will prioritise some PC time for children who don't have mobile phones.

Hope you're all having fun in Bahrain. Not as much as your children, I suspect!
