Day 4 Bulletin

Hi Everyone

A slightly shorter update today as I've had my hands rather full and I want to make a start on the photos. Now you may have already spotted that my photography skills leave a little to be desired, but the sledding ones from last night reached an all time low! For every picture you see, there were about a dozen I had to delete! Some managed to capture a stray foot or arm as the children whizzed and tumbled past me, but by the time the flash had decided to work most of the photos just showed a patch of snow!

I'm also uploading a few pics from our daily awards ceremony which we have after dinner. Each of the counsellors relates funny stories from our day on the slopes, and presents a cow bell pendant to the child in their group who has made the funniest mistake - there are lots of candidates! - or who has made significant progress. It is a real highlight of the day, leaving us all crying with laughter. There is a fantastic feeling within the group, and you can all feel very proud of your children and the way each of them are helping to make our trip such a success. It is lovely to get to know the children outside of the classroom environment, to see them on the slopes facing new and exciting challenges, and growing in confidence and self-assurance as they strive - and then succeed.

As promised, today I am including more portrait-type photos, the aim being that you will all have a special photo of your child which you can download off the blog and print. I am keeping a tick list for this, so don't panic if there isn't one of your child today!

Best wishes from all of us...

Mr M
