I could not get through to Shiffa on her mobile - I kept getting the engaged tone, text messages however were successful - sending and receiving.
Did anyone else have problems getting through to a bahraini mobile phone?
Any tips from anyone?

Hi Suhail,
make sure that your chil's phone has enough credit if it is a top up phone (SIM SIM. They get charge though we make the calls. you can do this through NBB phone banking phone top up service by calling 17214433.
